General Production Operator

Barcela – Ceramics for Life is looking to strengthen its team by recruiting a General Production Operator to join the Pottery Department and support the different stages of the ceramic production process.

We are looking for a responsible, dynamic person with a willingness to learn, who would like to join a solid, dynamic and growing industrial company.

Main responsibilities

• Support the different stages of the ceramic production process;
• Prepare, handle and move raw materials, materials and products
• Support forming, finishing and preparation operations;
• Carry out deburring, cleaning and visual inspection of finished pieces;
• Pack and move pieces between the different stages of the production process;
• Keep the workstation clean and organised;
• Comply with internal quality, health and safety procedures;
• Carry out other tasks related to the role.

Profile

• Previous experience in pottery, ceramics or an industrial environment will be valued, but is not essential;
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills;
• Ability to carry out manual tasks and follow production and quality procedures;
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and punctuality;
• Dynamic approach and ability to work as part of a team;
• Availability to work in an industrial environment;
• Immediate or short-term availability.
